In today’s world, it is becoming more difficult to find and hire the right person for our job(s) – one who will do the job well, be enthusiastic about the job, show up on time, not call in constantly to ask for time off for personal reasons, is guest service oriented with the customers, and is well-mannered with all age groups of team members and customers. It is frustrating to deal with the revolving door of employees that not only costs us money, but also lowers the morale of the current workforce in our business.
There are three major problems for the employer: - Attracting the right person
- Screening the candidates to know you have found the right person for the job
- Keeping the great employees once we are fortunate enough to hire them
